Updated: Mar 3, 2020

About This Game Planetbase is a strategy game where you guide a group of space settlers trying to establish an outpost on a remote planet. In the game you play the role of the base architect and manager, telling your colonists where to build the structures they will need to survive. You will have to ensure that they have a constant supply of oxygen, food and water to stay alive. You will get them to collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a fully self-sufficient base in a harsh environment, where you are always one step away from total failure.Even if the game is not intended to be a simulator, all the mechanics are plausible, and based on what the expected challenges of establishing a colony in an new planet would be.Features: Four different planets with different conditions and increasing difficulty. Harness solar and wind energy (if available) in order to power the base's structures. Grow hydroponic Vegetables and synthesize Vitromeat to feed your population. Mine and produce raw resources, process them, manufacture goods, and establish a production chain. Carefully manage the colonist immigration flow to ensure you have the people with the right skills. Survive disasters like meteors, sandstorms or solar flares and defend your base from intruders. Mechanize your base by creating your own bots that will help with the more arduous tasks. Grow your colony from a few initial pioneers to a vibrant planetbase with hundreds of colonists. 6d5b4406ea Title: PlanetbaseGenre: Indie, Simulation, StrategyDeveloper:Madruga WorksPublisher:Madruga WorksRelease Date: 15 Oct, 2015 Planetbase Download For Pc [hack] This game is horribly designed. Good luck getting past the second stage! They will force you to use wind power (unless you construct a MASSIVE solar network) then literally have zero wind to the point where your whole colony will die from lack of air (even with multiple power reserves and large windmills) What the ♥♥♥♥? Did you guys not even play test this? This isn't a one time thing. I can never get past 30-40 colonist and the wind literally disappears entirely. This game is designed to keep you sucked in long enough to get past the 2 hour refund window.. boring after a while - should be like 2 bucks. If...You're..willing...to...fail...over and over and over...again. My Planetbase experience can best be described with one story.I started out in a nice area, got a nice colony going. We were basically self-sustaining and growing steadily. Then, a miner got injured. Nobody would heal him. Then another miner got injured. Nobody would heal him either. Eventually most of the workforce was injured and nobody would heal them. Without metal, we had no spares. Without spares, we had no way to repair our windmills or solar panels. Then we ran out of power and the entire colony died a slow and agonizing death by gradual suffocation, all because the doctors wouldn't do their job. Ooh, what's this, a prioritize feature? Yayyyyy, now the doctors go from ignoring their patients all the time to ignoring their patients all the time :DDDDD. It gave me 16 hours of entertainment. That should be worth the price of the game.I think it could have been great rather than OK if it had multiplayer.Graphics and stability were very good.. https://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/announcements/detail/1808664240333155775. My colonists are autistic, depressive, manic and narcissitic. Rather then working through their depression for survival, they just give up and die. It's an accurate visual depiction of tumblr.10/10. Feels way too short, easy and lack depth, for me it fells like the game still in early access.. This game is bland. You never feel connected to your colonists, nor your colony. Pretty much all the technology is given to you at the start. You can only gain tech by trading for goods through an AWFUL interface. Moreover, the trading system is completely binary and random. It's just a clunkly game with bland mechanics.. Game was fun, but IMO Surviving Mars is the better version of this.
